Donald Lee Maraccini

Don was born at Mercy Hospital to Mary and Italo Maraccini. He had a wonderful childhood and attended St. Joseph's and Garces. He spent many happy times at his Portuguese grandparent’s farm on Stine Road and family trips to Pismo and Northern California.

He was a sheet-metal worker for 60 years.

He married Joan Kintzi in August of 1955. They had two children, Rocky and Chrissie (Doug).

He made many trips to Pismo and the high country. He loved hiking and exploring old mines. He went skydiving in Taft and spent many happy hours at his home away from home ‘Noriega’s.’

He leaves behind his sister, Norma, Marlene, and Josie. Grandsons and great grandsons, Sean (Jenni), and Dean, Bryan, and Dylan. Granddaughter Misty and her children, Madalyn, Mason, Sophia, and Jaxson.

A special thank you to Chrissie and Bryan, you made everything so much easier.

RIP Don, you earned it.
