ISABEL JULIA BANDUCCI

December 10, 1926 - January 1, 2021

     Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery.

     Isabel was the daughter of Manuel and Mary Markes.  She was born in Bakersfield where she lived her entire life.  On April 20, 1947 Isabel married Benidict Banducci. After their children started school, Isabel went to work for the Panama School District as Librarian and secretary for Stine School, retiring after 35 years.  She was a member of Homemaker's Club, and VFW Post 97 Ladies Auxiliary, volunteering many hours of her time.  Isabel was a wonderful cook and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and gathering with her family.

      Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, son, granddaughter, two sisters and one brother.  She is survived by sons, Tim and Marilyn, Eric, Gavin and Patty, Damin and Christine; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sister Margaret and her husband Don Schulte. 

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isabel's memory to Hoffmann Hospice, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
