James Russell Folger

James (Jim) Russell Folger , age 61 passed away on April 12, 2021 at Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield. He was born on February 4, 1960 in San Francisco, CA, but spent his entire life in Bakersfield, CA. He graduated from West High School in 1978. He married Tatyana Folger on June 30, 1999. Jim worked for Freymiller Trucking Company and later ran his own  business.
He is survived by his wife Tatyana, sons Mason, Blake, and Leonid, brothers John and Jeff and his wife Marcella, and many nephews,  a niece, and cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Joyce Folger and sister in law Linda Folger.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Jim touched are invited to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 401 Truxtun Ave from 6 pm to 8 pm for viewing on Monday 4/19/21 and funeral service scheduled at 10 am on Tuesday, 4/20/21 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Jim's honor to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
