Jess Andrew Miranda

Jess Andrew Miranda passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was 73 years old. Jess was born on November 15, 1948 in Bakersfield, California to Margaret “Peggy” Barron and Jesus R. Miranda. Jess was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Serving his country during the Vietnam War. After his military career he spent thirty years as a truck driver until his retirement from Drake Farms. Once retired, Jess enjoyed riding his Harley and taking his motorhome on many trips. He also loved having morning coffee with his special group of friends. Jess will forever be loved by those of us that he left behind. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his daughters, Julie Finocchiaro (Guy), Michelle Miranda Kern, Tiffany Vanderpool, Hillary Miranda, his stepson, Anthony Hessler (Sokunthea) and his grandchildren, Anthony Finocchiaro, Nick Finocchiaro (Jamie), Erika Kern, Kyle Kern, and Shane Flannery. Memorial Services will be held at Doughty Calhoun O’Meara, 1100 Truxtun Ave, Bakersfield, CA on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 6:00pm. Interment at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 12:30pm.
