Jessie Marquez, age 92, of Buttonwillow, passed away peacefully on January, 12 2023.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband John Marquez; son Johnny Ray Marquez; daughter Juanita M Cipun.
Jessie is survived by two daughters; Barbara De Los Santos and Anna Marquez of Buttonwillow. Five grandchildren; Melissa De Los Santos of Chicago, Jessica De Los Santos of Yuba City, Olga Cipun of Chicago, Sarah Chambers (Matthew) of Buttonwillow, JR Marquez of Porterville. One great grandchild; Marcus Gentry of Yuba City. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Visitation is from 4pm-7pm Tuesday, January, 31st, 2023 at Doughty-Calhoun-O’Meara.
Funeral service will be held at10am Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 601 E. California Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93307. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, 730 E. Potomac Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93307.
