JO ANN MENDIBURU

Our beloved Tanta passed away due to unexpected heart complications.

Jo Ann resided in Bakersfield, California all her life where she kept the Mendiburu Livestock business running for over 50 years. She served as an impactful member of the livestock community as she portrayed a strong desire of the cattle and sheep industry with her family ties. To know her was to love her, she was the life of the party. Jo Ann will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jeanne Mendiburu, her brother, George Mendiburu, her sister, Sharon Banks, and the love of her life, Candido Caldevilla. She is survived by several nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply.

A graveside service will be held at Historic Union Cemetery on Friday June 30, 2023 at 10:00AM.
