Linda Michelle Robinson, born to Earle and Terry Sue Robinson in Bakersfield, California. She attended schools in Ventura and North High School in Oildale.
Linda worked as a licensed manicurist for a few years in several salons in the Bakersfield area until medical problems got the best of her. She was also instrumental in being one of the main choreographers for the Coors Showdown dancers along with dancing partner Curt Hopper. She, along with the group, won several competitions throughout the western United States. Once again she would have to give up the love of her life, Country Western Dancing and the Showdown Dancers because of medical problems. Dancing was a very special part of her life and having to give it up broke her heart.
Linda is survived by her mother Terry McClaren, step father; Steve McClaren, brother; Earle Lynn Robinson and wife Cherie of Placentia, Ca., sister; Lesa Lowrey and husband Gary of Wofford Heights, Ca., and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved cat Clara Bow and life long friend Robin Zabotinsky. She was preceded in death by her father Earle Robinson.
