Louise Moosios

Louise was born December 16, 1939, at Miss Freise’s Maternity Hospital in Bakersfield to Lewis and Maudie (Maynard) Powell. She went Home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2021. While working at North Kern Golf Course, she met Bert Moosios whom she married on August 16, 1985.

Louise is survived by her husband, Bert Moosios; daughter, Sylvia (Orrick) Wood, son, Clyde Orrick (Lynett); siblings, Janie Salmon (Donald), Donald Powell (Jane), David Powell, Gene Powell (Donna), Randy Powell, Maudean Foth (Fred), Lynn Grant (Tom), Mike Powell; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Powell in 1970 and Maudie Powell in 2013, baby daughter Sheila Louise Orrick, who was born in 1959, and passed away a few months later; siblings, Dee Dee Powell, Fay Powell-Milne, John E. Powell, Wesley Powell, and Dennis Powell.

Funeral service will be at held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 401 Truxtun Avenue. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
