Mark Earl Lewis

Mark Earl Lewis aged 44, passed away from this life on February 21,2024. 

Mark Earl Lewis was born on November 30,1979 in Bakersfield, California to Lloyd "Buster" and Julie Lewis. Mark lived in Bakersfield his entire life. He attended Wingland Elementary, Standard Middle and North High schools, eventually earning his diploma. Mark loved playing sports, soccer, baseball, basketball and of course, loved to watch football, where he remained a loyal fan of "Da Bears". He still holds a record at Standard Middle School in track. Mark also shot 30 out of 30 free-throws at CSUB basketball camp. Mark will always be remembered for his ever-present grin and his ability to make others laugh. 

Mark is survived by his mother Julie Lewis, his older brother Robert (Melissa) Lewis, his nephew Matt (Chelcie) Lewis and nieces Emma and Ashley Lewis. Uncles Dennis Nichols, Jeff Packebush, Aunts, Chris Bradshaw, Laura Browning, Anna Nelson, Phyllis "Sissy" Lewis, and Sherry Morris. Mark had numerous cousins who affectionately called him "Uncle Mark". Mark was preceded in death by his Father Buster. 

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast (River Blvd.) on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. .
