Michael James Gredler

Michael James Gredler was born to, and preceded in death by, his Grandmother, Dena Inez (Gregory) Gredler, Mother, Charlotte (Eberhardt) Gredler, and Father, James Clayton Gredler. Michael, or Mickey for short, was best friends with his brother John (or Johnny) Joe Gredler who also preceded him in death. Mickey's grandson Tommy Allen McMurray preceded him in death as well.

Mickey was born on the 11th of July 1952, in Bakersfield, California. He attended and graduated from South High School and went on to work at Von's, until retirement. Upon that retirement, he followed his passion for travel and gambling; often visiting Laughlin, Nevada. Above all, Mickey adored spending time with his family.

Mickey is succeeded in death by ex-wife Thelma Jean Shoemaker. As well as, their three children: Melody, Michael and wife Billie, and Benjamin; eleven grandchildren: Steven II, Monica, Mathew, Jessica, Anthony, Madison, Rebecca, Seth, Christopher, Ashley, and Holly. There are 5 great grandchildren; Tanaya, Evan, Steven III, Felicity and Tommy.

Mickey was an affectionate Grandson, a devoted Son, a reliable Brother, a loving Father and doting Grandfather, adoring Great Grandfather, and a loyal friend.

Services will be held at Union Cemetery, 12pm on Monday March 2, 2020. We will be celebrating Mickey's amazing life following the service at the VFW Hall at 5350 S. Union Ave.
