Thomas Jeffery Fry (53), born May 30, 1968, to Alice and Leslie Fry, left us unexpectedly on April 19, 2022. Thomas (Tommy) graduated from South High School and turned his love of fixing and building into a career in construction. A “Jack of all Trades” when Tommy wasn’t working for a paycheck, he could often be found helping family, friends, or even strangers with their home projects. He had many loves in his life. He loved his family. He loved the beach and deep-sea fishing, and spending time on Poso Creek. He loved the Raiders and NASCAR. Mischievous, energetic, with a contagious laugh, if Tommy wasn’t at the center of the party, he was probably cooking the food for it. A kid at heart, it’s no wonder the youngest of our family flocked to him. A great brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Tommy will be deeply missed, and the world a little darker for his absence. Thomas is survived by his wife Darci and children: Luke, Lonnddon, Seth, Courtney, and two grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings Kathy Cook (Steve), Kenneth, Joseph (Kathy), Eric, and Becky Alves (Elder) and numerous extended family members and friends. A rosary will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 6 PM, at Saint Francis Parish, 900 H Street.
Mass will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10 AM, at Saint Francis Parish, followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. A reception will follow at Saint Francis Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or a favorite charity of your choice.
